Soaked Basmati rice

Cumin
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
2 medium onions and half whole garlic

Ground Ginger

Curry Powder

Vegetable Oil

With tbsp of oil start giving the chicken a color,then add water to boil it for 5 minutes.

In a different pot,add 2 tbsp of oil then onions, garlic and all the spices,salt,paste and yogurt

Stir it and mix it well,add the chicken,water just reach half of the chicken and cover it to boil

Let it cook in a covered low heat,when chicken almost fully cooked and the potatoes continue cooking

When the chicken fully remove the lid and increase the heat to medium to reduce the water to thicken

In a different pot boil water with bay leaves, tsp of oil,then add the rice till half way cooking

This how thick we need it,add the rice,and tsp of turmeric,cover it and low the heat all the way

After 20/25 minutes of low heat cooking check the water/liquid, should be just some thick sauce
