Caring For Your Fiddle Leaf Fig
Choose a pot with drainage. The pot should be slightly larger than the plant's roots.
Make sure it receives lots of bright indirect light. Look how close my FLF is to the window.
Remember to rotate your plant so it doesn't get lopsided.
Water once a week in the summer, when the top 2 inches of soil is dry. 1 - 2 cups of water is good.
Dust leaves when needed with a damp cloth.
Fertilize your FLF once a month in the summer only! Basic fertilizer works fine.
Don't move them around much or have anything brush their leaves too often or they will drop leaves!
Fiddle leaf figs can be dramatic but if you stick to these basic tips, you should be fine :)
