Set up your station! Plug in your soldering iron (set to high) and layer 2 chip boards to solder on

Flip speaker wires so marked side faces down. Left wire (-) = Left pad, Right wire (+) = Right pad

Attach speaker wires: hold wire on solder pad, touch iron to melt, release when shiny, wait to cool

Plug speaker wires into speaker port on sound module. HANDLE SPEAKER WITH CARE OR, SOLDER WILL BREAK

Identify the + and - pins by the symbols on the batteries.

Look closely at the circuit board - find the pins marked VCC and GND

Twist and press a jumper wire onto each battery pack pin. Then attach (+) to VCC and (-) to GND.

There are three buttons - RECord, PLAYEverything, and PLAYLimited.

Test your recorder! Press REC, look for light, then speak your message into mic on circuit board

Bonus! Add a Switch: bend pins 1 and 3 and connect 2 jumper cables

Here is where you will connect your momentary switch onto the sound module

Connect your switch: pin 1 goes to P-E and pin 3 goes to REC
