Wash 2 fava bean cans. Put them in a pot with water enough to cover them (H heat) + squeeze 1.5lemon

When boiling lower to M heat.Mince 3garlic cloves,1/2Tsp salt, cumin, red pepper flakes & blk pepper

Leave to simmer on M to L heat for about 10min. Mash the beans to mix all the flavours

Finely chop half a bunch of parsley

Finely chop a tomato and a hot pepper (if you like the heat)

Layer your dish & make sure to add plenty of good olive oil on top, the beans will take it all!

A very traditional Syrian breakfast& lunch dish, best served with pita bread. Delicious &fulfilling
