Scissors
Cut 30in/7cm of leather cord and tie a knot at the midpoint. Tape it down. Thread beading needle.

Tie the end of the silk beading cord around the left leather cord.
2. Tie the end of the silk beading cord around the left leather cord.

Thread your needle through a bead, then underneath the right leather cord.
3. Thread your needle through a bead, then underneath the right leather cord.

Reverse the needle, threading it though the bead again, above the right cord and below the left.

Add the second bead just like the first! You’re making a figure-8 pattern with the needle.

Continue adding beads until the desired length is achieved. Snug up the silk cord with your needle.
