2water+2 sugar +1 tsp of lemon juice +1 tsp of vanilla
Syrup
First add the semolina and the ghee,with your fingers gently combine them,DON’T kneading

Until the ghee covers all the semolina

Add the baking powder,sugar, yogurt,coconut and gently combined then with the same Technique

To have the best basbosa you only going to use your fingers gently to combine the ingredients

Brush your pan with tahini,I doubled the recipe,so use 9in pan or 8in depends on how thick you like

Add the mix and slowly spread it then give it couple knocked against the table to flatten

Cut it and decorate it with the nuts

To the preheated oven at 350f will take about 15/20 minutes

While the basbosa in the oven let’s make the syrup:2cups of water+2cups of sugar,squeeze of lemon

Let it boil for 5 minutes then add vanilla , and ready

Keep checking until the edges turns golden brown,then switch to broil and give it the perfect color

Make sure it gets a nice golden brown color and stay close,few seconds to be ready

Once the basbosa is ready add the hot syrup to it,keep adding until it doesn’t absorbs anymore

Cover it with the foil and let it set and cool completely

And ready , you can move it to the refrigerator for a better taste and shape or serve it warm
