Gather your materials.
1
Thoroughly blend equal parts of white and pearl clay.
2
Roll your clay on the thickest setting on your pasta machine.
3
Place your Sweet Daisy Frames silkscreen on your clay (dark orange side down).
4
Using Bright Gold from the Miracle Metals Mica Powder set, dust the powder over your silkscreen.
5
I used a soft bristled brush, and worked in a light, circular motion.
6
Carefully peel away your silkscreen.
7
Using your numerical stamps, work from the middle to the outside, stamping the year.
8
Press evenly, but not too hard.
9
Above the year, stamp the name you’ve chosen. Again, work from the middle letter to the outside.
10
Using a straw, cut a hole in the top.
11
Line up your circle cookie cutter and press firmly and evenly.
12
Perfect!
13
Gently clean up the ornament using rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.
14
Bake according to your clay package’s instructions. I baked mine for 45 minutes at 275*F.
15
Once cooled, seal with gloss varnish.
16
After the varnish has dried, cut about 10” of gold ribbon. String ribbon through the hole and tie.
17
Make a whole bunch and give as gifts!
