How To Make A Mangonada At Home

Mango

Pick your mango, we used a Kent mango.

Wash, rinse and cut a thin slice from each end.

Use the wider end of your mango as a base to stand the mango. Peel top to bottom.

Curve the knife to align with the shape of the mango and peel off all the skin.

Position the knife to one side of the seed and slice down.Repeat the process on the other wide side.

Don’t forget about the narrow sides of the mango.Slice down, curve the knife to align with the seed.

Here are two different techniques to make 1-2 inch mango pieces.

Do a ring of Chamoy around the cup.Sprinkle your chili on top of the chamoy, add your mango & chili.

Complete your mangonada with a tamarind stick. Don’t forget the most important step: ENJOY!
