Fabric For Lining
Cut Panels. Or cut 2 outside pieces, 2 lining pieces & 2 pieces of fusible fleece at 13.5”x 12.5”
Cut 2 straps out at 17.5”x 2.25”
Attach fusible fleece to front and back piece.
Iron long edges of straps over 1/4”.
Fold strap in half, wrong sides together, iron.
Top stitch both sides of straps.
Place outside pieces of bag right sides together. Repeat with lining pieces.
Sew sides and bottom of pieces together. Repeat with lining pieces, but leave 4” opening at bottom.
Turn outside bag right sides out.
Measure in from outside bag edge 1 1/2” and pin straps in place.
Insert outside bag into lining, right sides together. Match up raw edges and pin in place.
Sew raw edges at the top of the bag together.
If you added decor on top, clip around the curves.
Pull out outside of bag, using point turner make sure edges are pushed out.
Turn in edges of lining opening so no raw edges are showing.
Top stitch or slip stitch the lining opening closed.
Put lining into bag and roll edges.
Iron edges of bag. Topstitch edge of bag, if desired.
