Crispy Baked Falafel
8 STEPS
Add 3/4 of an onion and 6 cloves of garlic in a food processor and process

Add 4 cups soaked chickpeas, 2 cups parsley, 1/2 cup cilantro, 1.5 tsp salt & cumin, 1/2 tsp pepper

Add 3 tbsp olive oil and process for at least 2 minutes

Stir mixture to ensure its smooth and refrigerate for a min of 1 hour for easier shaping

Add 1/2 cup olive oil to a baking sheet and cover well

Shape falafel into patties about 1/2 inch thick and place on baking sheet

Bake at 375F for 25 mins, flip patties and rotate pan, then bake for another 20 mins

Serve with hummus or tahini sauce in pita bread, salad or bowl and enjoy!
